01 General Risk Warning
The risk of loss in trading commodity interests can be substantial. You should therefore carefully consider whether such trading is suitable for you in light of your financial condition.
If you purchase or sell a commodity futures contract, or sell a commodity option, or engage in off-exchange foreign currency trading, you may sustain a total loss of the initial margin funds and any additional funds that you deposit with your broker to establish or maintain your position.
You may also be required to pay additional margin or interest charges on a demand basis. If you do not provide the required funds within the prescribed time, your position may be liquidated at a loss, and you will be liable for any resulting deficit in your account.
02 Hypothetical Performance Results
Any performance figures, backtests, simulated trading records or example trades shown by MZpack — on this website, in marketing materials, documentation, videos, or social media — should be considered hypothetical and have inherent limitations.
03 CFTC Rule 4.41
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading.
Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity.
Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.
04 NFA Rule 2-29(c)
Any performance information provided by a vendor should be considered hypothetical and must contain the disclosures required by NFA Rule 2-29(c).
ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK IN ACTUAL TRADING.
FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS.
